Hail and welcome!

In Hakonarmal, Asgard is referred to as “the green world of the gods.” I’ve always especially liked this description for the home of Odin and the Aesir because it suggests the lushness and complexity of what is often dismissed as a rigid and barren world dominated entirely by military strongholds. I see Asgard instead as a vibrant, exuberantly fertile place, filled with life–very far from both the remote cloud-filled “paradise” pictured by some and the warrior’s free-for-all imagined by others.

As threatened, this is the new home of my public blog tracing my ongoing development as Odin’s priestess, and, by extension, the development of my relationships with His family, the Aesir. Actual content and a “purpose of this blog” page will be forthcoming soon.
